Course Description

Contracts are a fact of life.  Consumers sign contracts when renting a car or a wedding venue or an Airbnb.  We all sign contracts when securing services such as an internet provider, a gym membership, a new roof.  As licensees, we expect sellers to sign a listing contract with us, and we expect tenants to sign rental contract with the landlord.  Yet...many agents resist asking for a written representation agreement with buyers who wish to hire us as a buyer's broker.  Let's face it...being a fiduciary is a serious matter and deserves a written representation contract that not only clarifies the "rules of the road" for both the licensee and the buyer but also shifts risk while offering professional, quality services and an expectation of a fee.  We have a right to be hired, and we have a right to be paid.  So, if you stumble through the Buyer Representation Agreement and wish you had a better understanding and better, smoother scripting, this course is your guide.
