spring

The idea to build Spring Lake began in 1947 when several Kirksville residents began to develop initial plans. Spring Lake’s founders built a community based on good neighbors and a spirit of cooperation and enjoyment. The Spring Lake Community has 91 homesites situated on a 100-acre lake, surrounded by 800 acres of beautiful, rolling timber. Spring Lake offers great fishing, boating, water sports, hiking trails, a beach and a pavilion for group activities. Next to Spring Lake is the 2,500-acre Sugar Creek Conservation area.
