Tim was born in Marion, VA, and raised in Sugar Grove, VA. He graduated from Marion Sr. High in 1986. Two years after graduating high school, he pursued his calling into music ministry and attended and graduated with a Associates degree in Church Ministries at Fruitland Baptist Bible College and BA degree in Church Ministries at North Greenville University.
