Beach Walk
North meets south when the "Saltwater Cowboys" release the North Herd of Chincoteague Ponies at daybreak and walk them along the shore of the Atlantic Ocean to join the South Herd ponies in the South Corral.

99th Annual Chincoteague Pony Swim
The 99th Annual Pony Swim will take place at slack tide, which will be between the approx. hours of 7:00am - 1:00pm. A narrowed down time will be announced closer to the event.

Pony Swim Back
South Herd ponies swim back to Assateague Island until next year. The time of the swim back is dependent upon the tide and will be announced when the event gets closer. The North Herd ponies are trailered back to Assateague. 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
