BROKER/OWNER: Eric J. Bradley
I am an honor graduate from USM in Business Administration. I have always wanted to own and operate my own business, and with a CENTURY 21® franchise I have been able to do just that. I began my career in Real Estate in 1987 as one of the youngest Franchisees ever with the CENTURY 21® System. My philosophy for my business (and personal life, as well) is integrity, ethics and honesty. I am committed to making sure that my client’s best interests are always served.
As a member of the Pearl River County Board of REALTORS®, it has been an honor to be elected by my peers and serve as President of the Board for too many terms for me to know for sure, but it is at least 12 different terms. Early in my carrier and during one term, I implemented the computerization of our local Multiple Listing Service (MLS), and in another term, I was part of the conversion of the MLS to an internet-based system. Looking back that seems so, “well of course you moved to the internet,” but at the time it was a big deal when other much larger boards still had main frame computers and a telephone line!
I also volunteer with the Mississippi Association of REALTORS. I have served on many committees/working groups/advisory boards over the years to include, the Legislative and Regulatory Affairs Committee, the Standard forms Advisory Committee (forms used to contract in our industry), the Communication & Information Technology committee (web site and electronic communications), and the Professional Standards Committee (dealing with adherence to the REALTOR Code of Ethics). As such, I have served on hearing panels considering cases between REALTORS® or between members of the public and REALTORS®. As REALTORS we consider these proceedings to be vital and part of the core of our industry. It is a great honor to be entrusted with the duty of determining the outcome in these matters.
Computer/internet/electronic technology has always been of extreme interest to me, and keeping up to date with current technology has allowed me to operate my office so that we can offer our clients new and unique services. Reading is another pastime that also helps me to stay on top of my business and the changes in our industry.
I like to play the piano, read, train others and eat out – you would have to guess that last one because I am from New Orleans. I love animals and have had both dogs and cats over the years. My last cat’s name was Mary Katherine, who was positive she was a human. I studied classical piano for many years and still enjoy playing nearly every day. I enjoy serving as a musician for my local church
My family has owned property in Peal River County since 1963. This is a place I love to live and work.
