Size and Strength – GIFAR has over 400 REALTOR® members and an increasing number of Affiliate members in the Greater Idaho Falls area.
Welcome Package – New Affiliate members will receive a free business card size ad in our monthly newsletter, The Advisor, and an email welcoming them goes to all members!
Advertising and Sponsorships – Affiliate Members are eligible for members discounts on advertising and sponsorships of all types and at a cost to fit every budget, from newsletter ad to event sponsorships and more.
Website – Check out www.gifar.org! Affiliates are listed by service. Plus you get an opportunity to purchase a direct link.
Rosters – Affiliate members may receive printed member rosters, enhancing networking/referral opportunities.
Committee opportunities – Affiliate members may join most GIFAR committees and serve side-by-side with REALTOR® and fellow Affiliate members in establishing goals and objectives and making recommendations to the GIFAR Board of Directors.
Networking/Special events – Affiliate members qualify for member prices at regular membership meetings and other significant networking opportunities such as social events, fundraisers, Christmas Party, golf tournament, etc.
Recognition – Recognition programs at GIFAR help to create a higher profile among REALTORS® and fellow Affiliate members. There is an Affiliate Appreciation held each year where our Affiliate of the Year is announced and presented with a recognition plaque.
Information – Local, State and National communications regarding important business and regulatory issues like changes in lead paint laws, court cases affecting the way you do business, and new industry trends.
Service Activities – Organized charitable, civic and community service activities, with Affiliate members and REALTORs® serving side by side, enhance the quality of life in local communities.
Housing Statistics – Housing market statistics for communities within Bonneville, Bingham, Jefferson, Madison and Fremont counties are available only to our members.
Publications – GIFAR Affiliate member services may be promoted in the monthly newsletter, The Advisor, and are listed on our website.
Classroom Rental – GIFAR Affiliate members are eligible to rent our facility at the same rates as REALTOR® members. Room rental comes with the use of audio visual equipment.
As a member, you have access not only to REALTORS® but also to their sphere of influence. In turn, our REALTOR® members have the opportunity to meet industry professionals who provide services and products related to the real estate transaction.
