This webinar will give a broad overview of the estate planning process, focusing on the different elements that make up a cohesive estate plan. The program will describe each of the parts of an estate plan, why it is important, and the consequences of being one or more of those elements. Hypotheticals and examples will cover a wide range of family and wealth circumstances and touch on important issues related to federal gift and estate tax that come into play in the estate planning process. Participants will come away with a better awareness of the importance of estate planning and develop the key background understanding to empower them to engage meaningfully in the estate planning process with their attorney.
