1:00 to 3:00 - Journey Up the Apalachicola River on the Reasearch Vessel The Tideline
Journey up the Apalachicola River with the Research Reserve to learn about the important role the river has played in Apalachicola’s history, and how it is vital to our lives today. Anita Grove and Alicia Bruno will be your guide aboard the research vessel the Tideline where we will learn about the ecology, culture, and history of the river as well as the impact interstate relationships play in the control of the river and the latest status of the oyster reefs. We will also explore the many attributes that make Franklin County unique.
The trip is free, but reservations are a must!!! We are limited to 22 people.
