MFCAR is pleased to announce a new Department of Consumer Protection (DCP) approved Elective CE class offering for all REALTORS®, Affiliates, their families and the community.  CPR-AED-HEIMLICH, FIRST AID CERTIFICATION incorporating STOP THE BLEED training that represents 3 hours of CE credits for Salespersons and Brokers. Westport EMS was instrumental in partnering with MFCAR to design this class in conjunction with the American Heart Association & Stop the Bleed.

This certified course represents a chance for all REALTORS® to not only take a life skills course that will allow the development of skills that can assist their families and communities, but also for the first time receive 3 CE credits along with certification from the American Heart Association and Stop the Bleed.  

• Brokers, taking this class prior to September 1, 2024 will earn you 3 Elective CE credits towards your September 1, 2024 CE deadline.
• Salespersons, it’s not too early to start earning 3 Elective CE credits towards your March 1, 2024 – February 28, 2026 CE cycle.

Taking this class is a great opportunity to earn CE credits while learning valuable lifesaving skills. Our first class is scheduled to be held on Tuesday, May 14th from 12:00 PM – 5:30 PM, inclusive of a half hour break. Class will be held at Westport EMS, 50 Jesup Rd, Westport, CT 06880. Class size is limited to 35 participants. Additional classes will be scheduled throughout the year.

Note, class fee is shared between Westport EMS for instruction, teaching supplies, AHA & STB certificate fees and to MFCAR for administrative and PSI processing fees.
