Don't Forget Cleanup Westport Day is this Saturday, April 27th! Register to Join Team MFCAR.
On Saturday, April 27th, the Town of Westport Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting Cleanup Westport Day. This year the Mid-Fairfield County Association of REALTORS® has been officially invited to participate. We secured one of the most visible sites in the entire town, Winslow Park (aka "The Dog Park") at the intersection of the Post Road and Compo Road North.
We need a minimum of 30 members who need to wear long pants and long sleeves for tick protection, some sort of boots as the ground can be muddy, and gardening gloves. Our group will be identified as MFCAR, though each agent can wear their own brokerage name gear and/or name badge. The park will be open to the large number of dog walkers while we're there.
Clean up starts at 8:30 AM and goes until approximately 12:00 PM, or however long it takes to accumulate the trash. MFCAR will provide the trash bags. At the conclusion of the event, we will place our trash bags by the water fountain.
With the help and cooperation of civic organizations, community groups and residents we can make a cleaner Westport! We hope that we can count on our MFCAR members, family and friends’ participation in this important community event. A small amount of your time can make a large impact on your assigned location. We'll be looking for similar opportunities in Norwalk, Weston and Wilton.
