In our line of work, we work with a lot of sellers that are in some type of care facility.   Questions arise if they can sign on their own behalf?   When would a Power of Attorney come into play and Trusts?   What questions could you possibly ask?
   
How does this affect Listing Contracts / Offers to purchase --- When there are questions regarding a seller being capable of making decisions.  Signs of dementia or Alzheimer’s
Family member wanting to list property for sale who is not in title -  red flag?
 
 Jake Erickson, Director  of ADRC will join the presentation to provide 10 “Key Indicators” that someone has dementia and what can be done to assist them and their care.   He will also touch on Elderly Benefits Specialists (EBS) Assists and  Adult Protective Services.
