Attendees will learn the AD Valoreum (Tax Valuation) process from a Mass Appraiser as well as how to use the new GIS system for Ashland County. Learn the Process from start to finish, land valuations, tax valuation vs. sale price, how square footage is determined, below grade vs above grade and how it is weighted, how using GIS can help determine appraised value. Attendees will walk away with a better understanding of the Mass appraisal process and how it affects Real Estate Appraisals.
