As agents and brokers, we are tasked with helping the consumers price their property to
list or price a desirable property to make a viable offer. When learning about pricing,
professionals need to understand how appraisers affect that pricing. Understanding the
relationship between price and value will help agents and brokers to serve their clients
to the best of their ability. By becoming more competent, this will aid in helping
consumers whether in a hot market or a slow market. By learning to set expectations
and provide explanations, both the principals and their agents/brokers will be able to
negotiate without having to make concessions.
