This course will provide the real estate license holder with insight into the legal requirements and ramifications of their actions as it relates to how they establish and conduct business. Based on calls from the Texas REALTORS® Legal Hotline, the course will discuss the most frequently asked questions from Texas REALTORS®. Covered topics include contract provisions and addendums, property-management issues, advertising rules, anti-trust issues in real estate and much more pertaining to how to legally operate as a Texas real estate license holder. How to avoid situations, by understanding their legal position, should buyers, sellers, landlords or tenants seek recourse against them for perceived damages incurred as result of license holder conduct.
