Celebrate the Holidays in Augusta, Georgia

Augusta, Georgia is a big city with a big heart, and everyone from near and far are welcomed to celebrate this special time of year.

Events in Augusta and the city’s surrounding metropolitan area are so numerous that you will have to make some difficult decisions on how to spend your joyous time. The Imperial Theatre on Broad Street and Jabez Sanford Hardin Performing Arts Center in Evans will feature some great music in December. You can have “Christmas with the Annie Moses Band,” on December 15 or celebrate Christmas with country music artist John Berry at the historic Imperial Theater on December 20.

With a church on almost every street corner in Augusta, you can also enjoy in heavenly music almost every night of the week during December. And to learn about the reason for the season, families will enjoy the “Hayride through the Life of Christ,” at the Columbia County Fairgrounds.

Other holiday-specific events include SouthStar’s Arctic Express Trolly Tour that leaves from The Book Tavern, and of course Photos with Santa, free photos of the jolly St. Nick hosted at Cabella’s off of Riverwatch Parkway.
